WHAT TO EXPECT
In this age of digital, mass produced quick wins, Feather Paper provides something different. A product which someone has taken time to design and create from scratch, the beauty of which can be seen in its natural imperfections.
Feather Paper bespoke stationary suites are unique to each client. Each element is hand designed by me. All the calligraphy is written by my own hands and all of the illustrations and watercolour art is drawn or painted from scratch. I never use purchased calligraphy fonts or illustrations.
Luscious, luxury materials. From hand made paper to organic hand dyed silk ribbon, I carefully choose the materials used in Feather Paper creations.
I love to work with, and put a lot of effort into searching for, materials that
a) have been crafted with love, care and skill
b) are inspired by and respectful to nature and
c) are beautiful to the eyes and the touch.
A completely personalised service. I take a limited number of bespoke stationery clients each year to ensure that you have my undivided attention. I'm here to guide you through the world of stationery and keep the process of designing a suite together simple and enjoyable.

WHAT IS THE PROCESS FOR BESPOKE STATIONERY?
WHEN DO WE NEED TO START THINKING ABOUT WEDDING INVITATIONS?
Historically, wedding advisors have said that you should aim to send out the Save the Dates 8 to 10 months before the wedding and a couple of months earlier for destination weddings. Invitations should be sent out 10 to 12 weeks before the wedding and a few weeks earlier for destination weddings.
The creative design and printing process for bespoke wedding stationary can take anything from 3 to 10 months to get everything just so. In an ideal world, you will contact me at least 6 months before you need to send out your stationery.
This seems like a lot of time but it will fly by, trust me, and my goal is to make sure that you enjoy the collaborative process. Please get in touch for bespoke stationary as soon as possible!
Although traditional etiquette prescribes timescales, there is no reason to follow these 'traditions' if they are unpractical or unhelpful to your guests.
Bear in mind that guests may appreciate plenty of time to arrange travel, leave from work and accommodation.
HOW MUCH DOES BESPOKE STATIONERY COST?
The beauty of bespoke stationery is that I can work with you to design a suite of stationary to suit your budget without compromising on quality.
Feather Paper offers fixed pricing packages for its bespoke invitations and also a premium bespoke service. Our premium bespoke work is priced on a case by case basis according to the complexity of each individual stationary suite design, the artistic skills involved and the print process used.
Please bear in mind that Feather Paper produces a luxury product, carefully and slowly made by skilled artisanal hands. As such, we request a minimum order value.
